Packing your carry-on bag or any suitcase is an acquired skill, it takes practice, great memory and experience. Well, unless you have a list of essentials that should always be taken. Let’s be real, the worst part about traveling is the packing part. Many choose to take different types of bags with them – some take totes, others backpacks or wheeled bags. The truth is, it’s about what’s easiest and most comfortable for you to handle. There’s a simple approach to how you pack your carry-on, but the overall goal is to make your travel experience easy and seamless at every step. Here are some of our must-haves and methods for making the madness.

There are must-have carry-on items you simply shouldn’t forget
Going through the airport
The first tip to remember is that your airport experience should be seamless and worry-free, you don’t want to be searching for essentials. You should keep your passport, travel wallet, and any documents together and in a pouch or pocket that’s easy to get in and out of. This will make security very easy and effective for you. Moreover, you should have cash and cards nearby. Another handy thing to keep close by is a small cosmetic pouch – wet wipes, sanitizer, lip-ice and other essentials you may need personally – like medicine, etc. Finally, your headphones, pillow and snacks should be somewhere. In the mix, these are the things that make your flight comfortable and easy. We recommend writing a list and checking it right before you go to make sure you have everything you need.
Unexpected goodies
Once you have the aforementioned packed and easily accessible, it’s time to think about things that can make your flight easier. For starters, if you get bored easily or need entertainment – make sure you pack a book, a laptop, iPod, or some sort of tablet. Whichever you like and keeps you distracted and relaxed. It’s a good idea to bring along a portable charger on long flights so you don’t run out of gadgets. Additionally, we recommend buying a pair of compression socks or tights if you’re taking a long flight. They can help your blood flow and prevent any serious conditions. In this 2021 trip it is clear that sanitization is a must! Disinfectant wipes, an extra mask and hand sanitizer are actually three essentials you can get and need. Wipe down your entire seat, including the armrests and headrests. This is very important. Frequent sanitization is the next step and finally it’s always a good idea to have extra in case something happens to your mask. We recommend keeping a few toiletries in your bag – like a toothbrush, something mini like soap or body wash, even shampoo – just as a precaution. Buy mini bottles and use them. Roll-on deodorant is always a good idea. A few things and you should be just fine!
